Thailand’s original sea kayaking company, Sea Canoe started “Natural History By Sea Kayak” in Hawai’i (est. 1983) and won a 1985 EMMY award for a video featuring Hawai’i’s sea caves.
During a 1989 sea caving expedition, we found Phang Nga Bay’s Hongs and Tidal Sea Caves and invented the Tidal Technology that allows us to enter tidal caves by sea kayak. We still run true Eco-tours, and last year, National Geographic selected SeaCanoe Vietnam as one of the World’s Top 25 Adventures. Even in Phuket, we remain the only operator who truly understands sea kayaking into Phang Nga’s tidal sea caves.
Our guides speak many languages and are trained to Western standards. We hold full public liability insurance with the QBE Insurance Company.
To enhance your day’s experience, Sea Canoe plays “The Nature Game”, a fun activity that gives you added value for your time and money. The game fills slow times during van and boat transfers, answers your natural history questions, and (hopefully) wins you a Sea Canoe video at the end of the day – a US$30 value. We even have on-board microscopes for fun observations.

What to Bring: Swimwear, T-shirts, shorts, long pants, long sleeved shirt, towel, sun hat, sunscreen (SPF 15 minimum), camera, lots of film, toiletries, sun-glasses, waterproof sandals or flip flops.
