10-KOH TARUTAO AND BEYOND SELF-PADDLE CIRCUMNAVIGATION
We have been exploring Tarutao since 1992 and know the island better than any company our Thai Guides know the plants of the area and on the trips we can show you how to survive on what you can find in the natural surroundings. If you want we can show you the locations of the filming of Survivor.
About 51 large and small islands in the Straits of Malacca in the Indian Ocean have been established as "Tarutao National Park" as proclaimed in the Royal Gazette of April 20 ,1974. The park consists of 7 large islands namely, Tarutao, Adang, Rawi, Lipeh (Nipis), Dong (Budang), Lek (Bisi) and Klang (Tengah).
Because of time limitation and other obstacles cause us unable to take you to visit every island in the National Park. However, we can guaratee that everywhere we pass will impress you and it will be an unforgetable experience.
Itinerary
Day 1: Hotel pick-up and departure with public ferry for Tarutao in one and half hour. Lunch at National Park restaurant. Paddle in the west coast. Dinner and overnight in National Park
Day 2: Breakfast. Paddle in mangrove swamp and explore caves - expect wildlife but no guarantees. After Lunch box - continue paddle till sunset from Tarutao HQ beach. Dinner and overnight in National Park
Day 3: Early morning by nature walk, depart for Koh Lepe coastal paddle and clear water reef snorkeling. Sunset paddle, dinner and overnight in Koh Lepe.
Day 4: Motor to Koh Rawi: Koh Rawi coastal paddle and clear water reef snorkeling. Lunch box - continue coastal paddle and depart to Koh Lepe. Arrive and overnight.
Day 5: Breakfast and depart to Koh Adang coastal paddle and clear water reef snorkeling. After lunch - continue paddle, return to Koh Li pe for overnight.
Day 6: Depart to Pak Bara, if having time, we will paddle in fresh water caves. Transfer back to Hadyai airport or Trang airport or come back to Phuket with us by wheel.
